Peppermint Bark

Jessica found this recipe and wanted to give it a try.  So she and my nephew Kalob paired up to make this easy recipe that is perfect for older kids to make on their own.

12 candy canes, crushed
2 (7 ounce) chocolate candy bars
Melt chocolate slowly in microwave on medium heat.  Stir half of the crushed candy canes into the melted chocolate and spread on waxed paper that is resting on a cookie sheet.  Sprinkle remaining crushed candy canes on top and place in refrigerator to chill completely.  Break into bite size pieces.
